Our management team
AHC’s owners and managers have over 100 years combined experience building and managing other projects that include every phase of this development many times over and are currently doing work developing the HUD communities of Ozark Acres in Fairdealing, Missouri and Water Oak in Porter Texas.
P. DAVID SERATT: Dave is a 44-year-old part owner and managing member of AFC. Dave is a 1st grade Stationary Engineer with over 20 years' experience in engineering and management with Exxon Mobile; Texas Medical Center/Houston, and Apexcfm, a nationwide Construction and Facilities Management firm.
OBED LARA: Obe is 44 years old and was the electrical and mechanical maintenance supervisor for the Port of Houston before starting his own construction business in and around Houston. He has been in construction for over 30 years and has a very high customer satisfaction rating. Obe manages his company and crews personally, hands-on and efficiently. AHC is pleased that Obe has agreed to join the AHC team.
RODGER C. SERATT: Rodger is a 74 years old part owner and managing member of AFC. Rodger has a BSBA in Personnel Management. He owned and managed: Seratt Realty for 10 years; Ozark River Farms, Inc. for 13 years; Cole Manufactured Housing for 12 years; ZEB Solar Solutions, LLC for 10 years and Semo Collections, Inc. for 14 years.
Our Purpose
AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITIES LLC (AHC) was formed to develop HUD communities. AHC combines Semo Collections, Inc. 14 years ownership and management of construction projects and rental property ownership and Cole Homes 19 years in the manufactured home sales business and Zeb Solar Solutions LLC 10 years in the solar design, manufacturing and installation business. This team will build HUD affordable housing communities with solar assisted amenities and security for AHC.
Our specialities
AHC is establishing HUD communities in Missouri and Texas as showcase communities to show for its future HUD Affordable Housing Communities in the Midwest USA. We believe that many future AHC communities will be built by AHC and in association with partners.
ABOUT OUR COMMUNITIES
- Our standard homes are 14’X44’; one BR; one bath, well appointed homes;
- Each home is a private residence with fenced yard and a private parking space;
- Our homes are manufactured beyond HUD specs to be super energy efficient;
- Each home is affixed to its site-built, concrete, stuccoed foundation;
- Our homes are built to climate zone 3 standards with 6” walls and extra insulation;
- The rent includes all the utility bills; trash service; yard service; and security expenses;
- Each home is on a fenced nice size lot with landscaping and a garden space;
- A manager will live in the community;
- Our standard communities have amenities that may include a garden; walking track;
Doggie Park; community activities center; laundry mat and solar lighted grounds.
